Health Reform in the U.S.

With so much buzz in the media about legislation to reform health care in U.S. history, we find it necessary to address the issue. Which side are we? Well, we’re on the fence. U.S. political parties are almost evenly divided on where they stand on the issue, with many Republicans in strong opposition and the majority of Democrats on board with the changes. We believe that both parties have raised legitimate points, so we decided to see how it works before forming an opinion.

Many people get confused about how these radical changes that affect them. Are they going to pay more taxes? Will be forced to use an insurance policy administered by the government? Will they still be able to use their own doctor? The proposed reform is still largely set and it is too early to say exactly how the costs add up and how each individual can be affected, but we can decipher some of the highlights of the bill.

Student Health Insurance Reform and Health Care

There are 45.8 million Americans living without health insurance, that number is said to grow to 10 million over the next decade. There are about 5 million students in the life of the United States without health insurance, and although most students without health insurance are between 18 and 24 years, and are in good health, the management plan is Obama reform of health care to health care more accessible and affordable for young people and the rest of $ 45.8 million.

Many students are insured by their insurance plans from parents, but with the unemployment rate reaching 10% of recent graduates many are joining the ranks of the unemployed and the uninsured. In the current economic climate, many young college graduates have more to worry about health insurance, and Obama’s plan for health insurance for young graduates can focus on getting a job and remain healthy and in shape without having to worry about providing strong insurance premiums and deductibles.
